LICSF Marathon Completed At Huntington Country Club
On September 20th, the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Marathon was held at Huntington Country Club. The golf marathon is used to help raise money for the fund and its charitable efforts. As is the case in years past, golfers raced around the course to complete as many holes as possible during the day. In total, $24,035 has been raised for the LICSF through this year’s marathon.
Patrick Donnelly, Michael Sullivan, Joe Saladino and Daniel Abbondandolo participated in this year’s marathon in support of the LICSF. Last year, a few golfers competed in the marathon but at separate courses. This year, each of the group was able to complete at least 27 holes at Huntington. Joe Saladino led the charge, completing 90 holes and making 19 birdies during his trips around the course.
The total raised during the LICSF Marathon continues to grow and the goal will be to reach at least $30,000 for the year. The golf marathon continues to be a great fundraiser for the LICSF.
