The inaugural Guttstrong Charity Golf Outing was held on September 13th at Cold Spring Country Club. The event, created in memory of Jeff Guttentag, a former caddie, golfer and member of Cold Spring. Guttentag passed away at the age of 52. The event in his memory will serve to raise money annually for the Jeff Guttentag Memorial Scholarship, which is given away through the LICSF.
2021 Guttstrong Outing
Despite the original date being washed out by rain, the 2021 Guttstrong Charity Golf Outing featured a sold-out field on September 13th at Cold Spring Country Club. The event sold out within a week, showing just how much Jeff “Gutt” Guttentag brought people together. In its first year, the Guttstrong Charity Outing raised an incredible $45,000 for the LICSF. The money will go towards funding the Jeff Guttentag Memorial Scholarship, which was given to Robert Posillico of Cold Spring, the awards first recipient. Read more about Posillico here.
