Brookville Country Club Named 2025 LICSF Club of the Year

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (December 1, 2024) – The Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund has named Brookville Country Club as the 2025 LICSF Club of the Year.

For the past three consecutive years, Brookville has hosted the LICSF Marathon: the fund’s most significant one-day fundraising event that directly supports the scholarship aid awarded to the current class of scholars. Over this three-year period, Marathon participants have raised more than $102,000 in support of Long Island Caddie Scholars. Brookville’s partnership has been driven by the leadership of Head Golf Professional Len Bush, General Manager Carl O’Boyle, and LICSF Director Dan Abbondandolo.

A total of 115 scholars are receiving a scholarship from the LICSF for the 2025-26 academic year with a tuition commitment of more than $319,000. Jack Kaufman, a Brookville Caddie Scholar, is attending the University of North Carolina, Class of 2027.

The LICSF has awarded more than $5 million in meaningful financial aid to over 950 young men and women in its 63 years of existence. Those eligible for the scholarship are students who caddie or work in service to golf at golf courses across Long Island.
