Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund Celebrates GivingTuesday
ELMSFORD, N.Y. (November 28, 2023) – This GivingTuesday, the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund will inspire generosity by supporting the young men & women who work as caddies & other jobs at our Long Island Clubs with their pursuit of higher education.
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday will kick off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on November 28, 2023, and throughout the year.

Donations go directly towards funding scholarships for those who work in service to golf that demonstrate financial need. Help make our scholars’ dreams of higher education a reality. The fund’s mission is never turn away a qualified candidate with a financial need to attend higher education.

About the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund
The Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund (LICSF) provides need-based financial assistance to deserving caddies and others who have worked in service to golf, assisting in the pursuit of a higher education. The LICSF was founded in 1962 by George Sands, a long-time member of North Shore CC and dedicated volunteer for the LICSF, MGA and USGA. Since then the LICSF has awarded just under 900 scholarships totaling more than $4.8 million.
