LICSF Holds End-of-Year Meeting

GARDEN CITY, N.Y. (November 22, 2022) – The 2023 LICSF season officially ended with its annual meeting on Tuesday evening at The Cherry Valley Club.

The evening wrapped a very successful calendar year for the fund. The golf marathon raised over $60,000 and saw an increase in participants, and the number of scholars in the CSF increased to over 80 for the 2023-24 academic year.

The Fund handed out the Club of the Year award, which was awarded to The Seawane Club after hosting a successful LICSF Classic in October.

On Tuesday, the LIGA announced its players of the year. Matthew Lowe of Bethpage repeated as LIGA Player of the Year and Dave Scialabba won his fourth consecutive Senior Player of the Year honor.
