The Keefe Family Foundation Scholarship was established by legendary investment banker Harry Keefe Jr., co-founder of the firm Keefe, Bruyette and Woods. Keefe, a longtime resident of Greenwich CT, was a driving force behind the Insurance City Open, now known as the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour. This scholarship is awarded to a highly accomplished candidate, when possible, awarded to an individual interested in studying economics or finance.
Recipient
Eduardo Yepez of Pensacola, Fla. is the current recipient of the Keefe Family Foundation Scholarship. Yepez caddied at the Rockaway Hunting Club and is attending the University of West Florida where he is a rising sophomore and majoring in economics.
