LICSF Announces Scholar Class of 2025-26

ELMSFORD, N.Y. (September 8, 2025) – The Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund is proud to announce the 2025-26 class of new caddie scholars. The class features 43 men and women representing 38 clubs and facilities in the Long Island area.

The 43 caddie scholars will attend 39 colleges and universities across the country this fall as they pursue their education. The group will join a highly deserving list of young men and women from Long Island who will receive financial aid from the LICSF for the upcoming year.

“The challenges many of our scholars have had to overcome to achieve success are inspirational,” said Melissa Rimpici, the manager of the LICSF. “Every one of their stories is unique, and we are honored to aid them in pursuing their goals.”

A total of 115 scholars will receive a scholarship from the LICSF for the 2025-26 academic year with a tuition commitment of more than $319,000.

“While sustaining high grades, navigating unique family dynamics, or perhaps carrying three jobs, the commitment to golf from these young men and women did not waver,” said Rimpici. “We are confident that as the LICSF and our supporters rally for these individuals’ success, they will meet their goals, propelling them to greatness.”

The LICSF has awarded more than $5 million in meaningful financial aid to over 950 young men and women in its 63 years of existence. Those eligible for the scholarship are students who caddie or work in service to golf at golf courses across Long Island.
