The Keefe Family Foundation Scholarship was established by legendary investment banker Harry Keefe Jr., co-founder of Keefe, Bruyette, and Woods. Keefe, a longtime resident of Greenwich, Conn, was a driving force behind the Insurance City Open, now known as the Travelers Championship on the PGA Tour. This scholarship is awarded to a highly accomplished candidate and, when possible, awarded to an individual interested in economics or finance.
Endowed and named scholarship funds provide additional aid opportunities. These particular scholarships are awarded according to guidelines established by the donor. Some are for specific fields of study, or caddies from specific clubs, and some are awarded above and beyond the general LICSF scholarship.
