Over 550 Holes Played at LICSF Golf Marathon
GLEN HEAD, N.Y. (September 25, 2024) – The Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund’s annual golf marathon was held at Brookville Country Club last week.
The event featured a handful of fundraisers who came out on a beautiful day on Long Island to play as many as possible to benefit the Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund. The group completed 560 holes to generate donations and pledges for the Fund.
“The CSF was my first way of getting introduced to the Long Island golf community. Working with this fund was my first job. This was my third marathon, and it feels good to give back,” said Nick Roden (pictured above).
Roden added, “An event like this puts in perspective how you can contribute to a fund differently. Especially if you have pledges per hole and play as many holes as possible to raise as much money as possible, it is so much fun to be part of this event.”
On Tuesday, the golfers raised over $37,000.
